Privacy Policy

Memori is a private, two-person app for sharing date ideas and keeping the memories they turn into. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep it short because the app collects little.

What we collect

• Your email address and a password — to create and sign in to your account. We store only a securely hashed version of your password, never the password itself. If you use Sign in with Apple instead, we receive a unique identifier from Apple rather than a password.
• Your display name — the name you choose so your partner sees who added an idea.
• Your content — the date ideas, notes, and photos you add to your shared list and memory log.
• A push notification token — if you enable notifications, so we can send the handful of reminders the app offers (e.g. a nudge to add a photo after a date).
• An account identifier and pairing code — to connect your list with your partner's.

We do not collect your location, contacts, health or financial data, browsing or search history, or usage analytics. The shake feature reads your device's motion on your device only — that motion data is never transmitted or stored.

How we use it

Solely to make the app work: sign you in, sync your shared list between the two paired phones, store your memories, and send the notifications you opt into. That's it.

Who we share it with

• Your partner. The ideas, notes, and photos are shared with the one person you paired with using your pairing code. There is no public feed and no way for strangers to see your content.
• Service providers we rely on to run the app: our hosting provider (stores your data and photos), an email provider (sends your password-reset email), Expo's push notification service (delivers notifications), and, if you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple itself (to verify your identity). They process this data only to provide those services to us.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps or websites. There are no third-party advertising or analytics trackers in the app.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. To delete your account and its associated data — your profile, ideas, notes, and photos — email us at the address below and we will remove it.

Children

Memori is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
